It is only 300 metres from the beach, and a stone’s throw from the town centre. The Hotel Grande Italia, far away from the main traffic though-fares and surrounded by a large Mediterranean maquis garden, is located in an exclusive area offering guests a calm cool atmosphere.

The hotel was built in 1922 and belonged to the Casini family who have managed it for three generations. It was one of the first hotels in Marina di Pietrasanta.

The house is an ancient building made of local stone redolent of the era that has still adapted to the requirements of modern tourism despite retaining its mansion status. It still has original-style furniture in all common areas.
